A free 90-minute in-person session for a team, club, or PE class — why injuries happen, a live movement screen, hands-on emergency-response practice, and a warm-up they keep.

The curriculum
The run of show
Every session follows the same arc, adapted to the sport in the room. It opens and closes with a short anonymous quiz so we can see what actually changed.

0–25 min
Why athletes get hurt — the lecture
We open with the Built to Last deck: how tissue takes load, the three ways a muscle works, and why the brain's timing decides the rest — tied to the injuries that actually sideline their sport. The animations run live and a volunteer takes the reaction-time test in front of the room.

25–40 min
Live movement screen
Volunteers do a few bodyweight squats in front of the camera and the whole team watches the knee-collapse pattern show up on screen in real time. Seeing your own knee dive inward lands harder than any slide.

40–65 min
Hands-on emergency response
Real reps on CPR manikins and AED trainers: chest compressions, pad placement, and what to do when a teammate goes down. This is skills training and awareness — not a certifying course. Attendees don't leave certified; they leave more prepared.

65–80 min
The warm-up that works
A short, evidence-based routine the team can run before every practice — the hip and hamstring work that measurably lowers injury rates. They leave able to lead it themselves.

Red flags & what's next
The signs that mean stop and get help now, plus where to get properly certified — BLS, CPR & First Aid, Stop the Bleed — for anyone who wants to go further.

The instrument
We measure the session, not just run it
The movement screen runs in the browser on a laptop we bring. Pose landmarks are estimated frame by frame with BlazePose, entirely on that device — the video never leaves it and nothing is uploaded.
Knee valgus
How far each knee drifts inward relative to the foot — the strongest movement predictor of non-contact ACL injury.
Squat depth
Hip crease relative to knee height at the bottom of the rep — a controlled full range versus a shallow, stiff one.
Trunk lean & asymmetry
Torso lean and the left-vs-right difference in knee control — early signs of a compensating pattern.
What we record
Anonymous, aggregate numbers only: quiz averages per session and the movement patterns we saw as a group. No names, no video, no personal information — and no individual athlete is ever identifiable in anything we publish.
Where it goes
Straight to a public page, small samples and all. These are program results, not a controlled study — we report what we saw and show the sample size next to it.
